Astrology the Divine Science ( Karma Siddhanta (The Theory of Karma)

OM SAI RAM
This is in continuation of my previous post dated 25.5.2008 ;
Before going into the depth of Astrology, let us first try to understand the " Theory of Karma". The " Theory of Karma" is the greatest wisdom given to this world by the Hindu Philosophy. In the greatest book of spiritutal wisdom " The Gita" it has been well explained by the means of dialouge between Lord Krishna and the Arjuna.
The " Theory of Karma" rests on three pillars, they are :
(a) Reincarnation
(b) Man's inescapable propensity to do Karma ; an action less existence is not
possible
(c) Fruits of action have to be enjoyed/ suffered.
The " Karma" has been broadly divided into three categories namely; " Karma", " Vikarma" and "Akarma" .
Let us first See the KARMA.
(1) KARMA :- It has four elements contained in it.
(a) Sanchita Karma ( Accumulated Karmas of past lives) :- It is the entire collection of the Karmas done by a person in his previous lives as human being. Since, these Karmas have already been done, there is nothing one can do about them now. He has to just suffer or enjoy the results of those Karmas until they are exhausted completely.
(b) The Prarabdha :- It is that part of the Sanchita Karma which has been allotted to a person for his present birth or in the other words we can say that it is his destiny for this life time. It contains both the positive and negative Karmas done by that person in his previous life. As a result of the positive Karmas he gets the enjoyments, achievements, and other happiness in this life. And as a result of the negative Karmas he gets the miseries, unhappiness and failures.
The other part of the Sanchita Karma results in the motivations that enters in the life of a person any time. When a person suddenly does an act, which he least expects that could ever do, is the result of such a motivation. Such motivations are also the results of positive and negative karmas of past life and accordingly make or mar the person.
Thus, we may see very clearly that the Human behaviour is influenced not only by the environment and heredity but also by the Prarabdha and Motivations which are the results of his karmas in past life . This is the reason that two persons though born and brought up in the same enviornment with same heredity, behaves differently, have different motivations, have different perspectives.
(c) Kriyaman Karma :- This is the area in which man has been given the freedom of action, and by his actions he can make or mar his destiny. But again this area has a limit, the man has been allowed to perform only within that limit and this limit has been decided by his previous Karmas. If freewill is not limited then what stops a man from achieving what ever he desires ?
We may understand it by an example:- A cow is tied to a a peg in the ground, if the cow sits idle she will get nothing or very less if she makes effort she can take more grasses but only upto that area for which the rope with which she is tied allows her. The length of this rope is decided by the previous Karmas . Thus a man is free to exercise his freewill but within the orbit of the pre-destined, not outside it.
(d) Aagami Karma :- is the Karmas of future births, if the present birth is not the last one.So it is the area which is flexible and that can be altered by means of the "Kriyaman Karma" .
(2) VIKARMA :- These are the low Karmas performed by a person which definitely gives bad results. The " Vikarma" can be classified into ;
(i) Anti- parental Karmas
(ii) Anti-family Karmas
(iii) Anti-Society Karmas
(iv) Inhuman Karmas.
(3) AKARMA :- It is the highest form of Karma leading to salvation. It is possible when Karma is done with total detachement, morally, with no desire for the fruits of such Karmas. It is a high stage of Yogic development.
Each human birth takes place to carry out its allocated task(s) in accordance with its Karma. This allocation of task is " Fate" or " Destiny". The circumstances and the environment of the house where one is born are pre-determined. The aspects of life that can be seen astrologically, can be divided into following three parts :-
(a) that area where destiny must prevail and man has no choice.
(b) that part where man can exercise his freewill to improve the best of the pre-results or overcome the pre-destined misfoutunes to an extent.
(c) that mixed area where the astrologer can-not see, where strokes of destiny become more mightily dominate over freewill or vice-versa.
BUT over and above all one must remember that every man has to enjoy or suffer the results of his good and bad Karmas, himself.
Good Karma give good results and bad Karma bad results. One's own Karma always yeild results.

ASTROLOGY THE DIVINE SCIENCE

OM SAI RAM

Have you ever wondered that not only the human beings but all the living creatures, whether big or small, possess a natural ability to communicate with its fellow beings. All the living creatures thus have a language whether verbal or non-verbal. We as a human being may not be able to understand those languages but it doesn't mean that they do not exist. The Science says that even the non-living things are pulled to each other by a force, the quantum of which may be small or big depending upon the masses of those things and the distance between them. In terms of formulae, which can be read as the force by which two bodies are attracted towards each other is directly proportional to the product of masses (M1 . M2) and inversely proportional to the square of distance between them. Can't we see that threre is an invisible string which is connecting each and every thing in this Universe. This is the theory of inter-connectivity that the Hindu philosophy have been believing for ages. They have realised that since every thing is inter-connected, if one end is disturbed the other will automatically get disturbed. Their philosophy is reflected in the way they worship the every form of nature. The mountains, the rivers, the fire, the water, the trees, the Sun, the earth, the planets, men, women, cow, rat, lion, elephant everything has been given due importance in their worship. They firmly believed that this "Nature" also have a language by which it tries to communicate a balance and it warns when somebody tries to disturb this balance and even punishes them who ignores it.
The curiosity to understand the language of "Nature" gave birth to the divine science of astrology. The whole astrology is based on the theory of inter-connectivity. The inter-connectivity between the Sun, the Moon, the other heavenly bodies and the living beings. Similarly, the man is connected with his " Karmas" or doings. The destiny is nothing but the unfolding of his own "Karmas". We get the results of our "Karmas" in the shape of happiness or miseries and unless the fruits of our Karmas are exhausted completely we are bound to take birth again and again.
"Astrology" and "Karma" are interlinked to the belief in the transmigration of souls.

The idea of creating this blog is to get connected with the like-minded people and to share my learning in Astrology with them, which is really a wisdom. I will discuss step by step about the horoscope, how the whole life of a person is containted in the 12 houses of this horoscope and how the permutation, combination of the planets sitting there shape his life.
